Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible and we never sell it.
1. Who is responsible
Invntio is a business name used by Víctor Velázquez Cid, an individual based in Pennsylvania, United States, who is responsible for your information. You can contact us at hello@invntio.com.
This policy covers this website and our dealings with prospective and current clients. When we build or host software for a client, the personal data of that client’s own users is handled on the client’s behalf, under the client’s privacy policy (see section 7).
2. What we collect
- Contact form. When you use the form on this site, we receive your name, email address, company (if you give it), the service you are interested in and your message. The form is delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms, a form-processing service, and protected against spam by hCaptcha, which may process your IP address and browser data to tell people from bots.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive the details you choose to share and your email address.
- Client information. When you hire us, we keep the business contact details, project information and access credentials we need to deliver the work.
- Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us limited details such as your name, email, billing address, the card brand and its last four digits, and the payment status. Stripe handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
- Analytics (only with your consent). If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use PostHog to measure how the site is used: pages visited, clicks, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and the referring site. If you decline, PostHog is not loaded.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

You can change your analytics choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer, or clear these items in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as declining analytics and do not load PostHog.
4. How we use it, and why

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not use it to train AI models. We only send you marketing emails if you ask for them, and every such email lets you unsubscribe.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we need in order to operate: Web3Forms (the contact form), hCaptcha (spam protection), PostHog (analytics, only with your consent), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Zoho Mail (email). They may use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to a successor if the business is ever transferred.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Some of these providers are located in the United States, and they may process information in other countries under their own safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- Inquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 2 years, then deleted. Web3Forms also keeps a copy of each form submission for up to 30 days.
- Client and billing records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Project credentials: until the project or plan ends, then deleted or returned to you.
- Analytics data: up to 12 months in PostHog.
7. Data we handle for our clients
When we build, host or maintain software for a client, we may have access to personal data about that client’s customers or users. In that case the client decides how the data is used and we process it only on their instructions and to provide our services, as set out in our Terms of Service. If you are one of those users, please contact the client first; we will help them respond.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy;
- correct it if it is inaccurate;
- delete it, or object to or restrict how we use it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before;
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
These include the rights known in Latin America as ARCO rights (access, rectification, cancellation and opposition). To use any of them, email hello@invntio.com and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. We may keep records that the law requires us to keep, such as invoices. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access limited to what is needed, and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities when the law requires it.
10. Children
Our site and services are meant for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a significant change, we will say so on this page and, for clients, by email.
